Permanent Recruitment, why Vector are so different
Posted by Vector Resourcing on Tuesday 5 May 2009I have been with Vector Resourcing for 3 whole weeks now and not only am I thoroughly enjoying it, but in that time I can honestly say I have noticed a difference in the way they do things here. In my experience some “recruitment agencies” will sit and wait for that role to come in and then once they have it they will jump on the phone to secure as many CV’s as possible before bombarding their client with as many as they can in the hope that the client will want to see at least one of them.
Here at Vector it is our firm belief that it’s quality not quantity. In Permanent Recruitment we get together and brainstorm through our database of IT professionals, we will then contact each one personally and profile them, making sure we tailor candidates for that exact role. We won’t just send out loads of CV’s as that will only reflect badly on us if none of them fit the profile. Clients are busy people and it’s our job to take the effort out of recruitment.
We take a much more personal approach at Vector. We will speak to the candidate on numerous occasions during each step of the recruitment process from the point of presenting the CV to the client, to CV feedback, right through to interview stage and beyond. It’s easy to go out of your way to support candidates if you want to.
I find the Vector approach very refreshing it makes such a difference working for a company which puts client and candidate care at the forefront of the recruitment process.
