Working for Vector

As Vector is currently looking to expand the team with additional recruitment consultants, I thought it would be beneficial to share my experience as one of the recruits from July last year.

Although I come from a sales background which has been a big advantage, the right attitude is more important than past experience. The in-house training programme was very thorough and ensured I was well prepared to start my career in IT Recruitment, an area which I knew very little about. There is a lot to learn and take in, so you really need to be committed and motivated to succeed, but there is a lot of support from everyone around you and in the long run it is well worth the hard work and effort.

I have already built up my own extensive client list including the Public Sector, Communications, Finance and many more. I find it a rewarding job and I especially like the fact that Vector is a young, dynamic, forward thinking company and I enjoy the fast paced and lively working environment.
