Recruit now, not later

As we start to see a glimmer of hope for recovery with the recession appearing to have bottomed out, clever businesses will start looking to the future and not just at their short term survival.

With an abundance of IT contractors available, the market may appear to favour the hirer, however only recently an e-skills study found that around a quarter of businesses are struggling to appoint the talent they need.

And, as the upturn gains strength, more and more companies will be looking for IT professionals to assist them in their growth, especially if they have made cut backs during the recession, which may leave many firms unable to find the right person for the right job.

I would therefore recommend that businesses look forward and recruit now, rather than risk leaving it too late when you may find that the talent you need has already been taken off the market, which inevitably it will be.
