Our client have multiple upcoming projects that have come about due to the recent implementation of Dynamics CRM. These projects all feed back into the main programme of work which is to deliver phase two of CRM development. The smaller projects will be integrating Dynamics CRM with the clients student management and finance systems, the installation of new kit and the upgrade of their student management system. You will need to pick up these projects and ensure that they are delivered. The client are using a third party for delivery of the CRM development and they will need closely managing to deliver to set timescales. You will also need to work closely with the stakeholders to get them organised and onboard with the delivery timescales. During the management of these projects you will need to report progress to the executive team which includes the COO.

Our client has recently acquired six other companies based all over the UK. They now need to migrate each of these companies infrastructure and software over on to one combined Active Directory platform. This has been split down into smaller pieces of work and the work has already been scoped out and the PID's completed. You will need to come in and pick up the existing project scopes and ensure that they are delivered against the clients security needs. This will cover the migration of infrastructure as well as the migration of software applications. You will need to work with stakeholders to get them brought in the project as well as managing suppliers to ensure they deliver against deadlines.

Scrum Master

Our client are in the midst of a large transformation programme, they have implemented a new system throughout the entire organisation, they are 2 years into the programme and have rolled out and integrated this system to 11 sites this year and will be looking to roll out to another 13 sites in 2018. Due to the scale of this work they require a Scrum master to join their project team to assist in the smooth delivery to the new sites next year as well as managing a back log of issues that are building up from the sites that have recently gone live. You will be required to work through a backlog of user/change requests and make sure that all the user stories requirements have been gathered and collated properly before distributing them over to the technical teams to be actioned. You will be required to make sure that all teams have user stories to work from, work with senior management to effectively prioritise requirements and effectively manage the distribution of stories using agile principles.

AX 2012 Finance Consultant / Finance Support

Contract: 6 Month Initial Contract

Location: Leicester

Our Client have implemented Dynamics AX 2012 to 2 sites and this has now gone live, they have implemented the following areas Finance, Purchasing, O2C and Fixed Assets. They will be rolling out to another 14 sites over the next 4 years so require their project team to be fully focused on the new sites. There has been more of a need for support on the 2 live sites than they had anticipated so require someone to help users with any problems they have from a functional perspective and escalate any technical issues to the technical teams. The client has super users on site that will act as the first port of call so you will be dealing with issues they are not capable of solving. You will be responsible for resolving issues from users and when you do not have support issues you will be looking at continuous improvements in AX, report specing for BI & SSRS reports and end user training on site. You will not be required to configure the system.  

  • Strong AX 2012 (ideally has implemented AX, but should first and foremost have AX Finance skills)
  • Strong understanding of finance, purchasing fixed assets and O2C within AX

SharePoint 2010 Application Support

Our client are migrating from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint Online and moving a member of the current support team on to the project work, this now means they need to backfill his position. You will be taking calls escalated from the 1st line helpdesk that they cannot rectify, to support the clients current application portfolio. You will be working in a team of 5 - 6 people carrying out remote support and problem solving of SharePoint 2010 and other MS technologies. Some of these applications are heavily customised and problems will range from simple permission problems to much more complex application problems.  

  • Must be a UK National and happy to go through baseline clearance
  • Experience supporting SharePoint 2010

Cisco Cyber Security Expert x 2

Contract: Needs to be completed by early next year

Location: Home Based

Our client require two experts to assist with the writing of Cisco exam questions for a client that are based in the US. The Exams are Cisco Cyber Security Fundamentals (SECFND) and Cisco Cyber Security Operations (SECOPS) and you will be expected to write the questions for your specialism and deliver them in blocks of 25 each week. The Client have someone who can talk you through the structure of the questions. Each question should take roughly an hour to write (hour and a half max) and you will need to deliver 25 per week, each week the client might suggest tweaks to the questions that will need to be made which should only take a few minutes.  

  • Must have completed either of these Cisco qualifications - Cisco Cyber Security Fundamentals (SECFND) or Cisco Cyber Security Operations (SECOPS)

Our client are delivering an overseas project and the existing Manager has just handed their notice in. This project is for the design, development, supply and commissioning of platform screen doors for a new Metro system. In addition to this the client are setting up a Chinese supply chain to supply the product. You will be working in a cross matrix team, managing designers and developers in Wiltshire as well as the stakeholders abroad. You will need to work with China to ensure the supply chain is set up and running correctly. In addition to this you will be liaising with Italy and Greece who are customers, to ensure delivery of this project.

Our client are going to be splitting their office up, half of the staff are moving to Reading and the technical teams are staying in High Wycombe. This will result in an increase in support calls so the client are looking for someone to help them through this transition period so that the users don't suffer. They will also need you to cover support in their London office at least one day per week. They also have a small project for a site up north that will require you to go up and oversee (will be 3-4 days) which is a systems migration to newer versions.

Senior Data Warehouse Engineer

Location: Wiltshire

Our client have a backlog of data warehousing work that they need assistance with clearing, the focus of the work is around improving internal efficiencies which should in turn improve their customer service offerings. This is an Oracle Data warehouse that is about 2.5 TB with about 5.5 billion records the main feeds come in from the clients SAP ECC6 solution. You will be allocated work on a weekly basis and you will be responsible for gathering requirements and working with the in house teams to enhance the clients data warehouse. You will be required to build new tables, aggregation, PL/SQL Procedures and Data Loading using Business Objects Data Services.

Our client have a need for a Mitel support specialist to work on a couple of projects as well as assist them in a growing back log of Mitel support issues. The focus of the work will be to analyse the clients telephony environment and map out their systems including doing a call flow analysis. This is because the client will be looking to upgrade their telephony to the cloud so need to understand what they currently have before making the decision on what to upgrade to. Their contact center also wants to restructure their telephony but the client have not had the expertise in house to help them with this. Finally you will also be working with the clients managed service provider to offer support on Mitel to a 2nd line level.

The role will require you to translate business requirements into specific system, application or process designs and work closely with our 3rd party supplier to successfully deliver the Identity Access Management  solution and transition in to service.
