Contract: 3 Month Initial Contract

Location: London

Our client have realised that they have no formal process in place around IT resources. This means that they do not have a list of staff in IT and what their job roles are (covering both internal and external resources). They now want to create a single view across IT so they can understand what resources they have, what projects they are working on and if any resources are free to be used. You will need to come in and help the client create a list of all the IT staff and resources they have, both internally and externally. This will need to be entered into a system that will allow the client to have a handle on who they have and if they are internal or external 3rd party resources. You will also need to create a log of all in flight projects, so the client know who is allocated to what project and how long each project/programme is.  

  • Experience managing resources and capacity within an IT department

Our Client has relocated offices to join another HQ in Lewes. As a result of a contractor leaving, they are now looking to replace the position. Our client are replacing from their POS system right through to GL (general ledger) globally across 26 countries. This application has a bespoke front end which needs amending and adapting for each country. Since the start of this project the client have also decided to introduce their service to new countries, one of which is Thailand. Each country will have specific gaps relating to the individual countries needs as well as gaps in the application. You will need to work with each country to identify the gaps and document these as requirements. You will need to take a lead position and push back on additional requirements being requested, questioning if they really need the functionality and providing evidence to show if it is/is not required. Once the requirements have been defined and agreed with the stakeholders you will work with the UI/UX team to make the required amendments.

You will be working in the professional services arm of a managed service provider, working on new implementations or troubleshooting ongoing project issues. The client currently have an ongoing project which is the rollout of Windows 10. They are doing this in order to eliminate the current Windows 7 & 8 environment. Oracle RMS Functional Business Analyst

Contract: 6 Month Initial Contract

Location: Dublin

Our client are implementing Oracle RMS across the business and this implementation is split into two work streams. The first work steam is financials and the first release is due to go live in July this year with the second release due for October/November this year. The second work steam is the retail implementation; the design phase, analysis and "as is" has been completed, they are now working on the functional design which is due in June 2017. The implementation is mostly vanilla but the client have a few key tweaks that they will be making, one of which is around the ordering front end on the retail side. You will be leading a team of 3/4 analysts to pick this project up from the design phase and see it through implementation, testing etc until go live in 2018. You will be managing the workload of your team to validate the design against the business' original needs. This is a business facing role and will require you to work across the whole business, working up to Director and trading level. You will need to work with the change management team and work stream leads to deliver each phase of the project. For any tweaks to the design you will need to work with the 3rd party vendors to ensure they are meeting the pre defined requirements.
