Christmas Shut Down
Wednesday 16 December 2009Vector Resourcing will be closed for Christmas from Tuesday 22nd December and will re-open on Monday 4th January 2010.

Permanent Market Picking Up
Wednesday 16 December 2009Vector Resourcing’s permanent division has now been up and running for its first full year. Although I joined the team in its last quarter, there are signs that the market is picking up by the number of Job requirements and permanent placements being filled.
Optimism seeps through to 2010
Monday 14 December 2009The Permanent Division has experienced a healthy end to 2009 and the signs are promising for 2010. Many of our clients appear to be replenishing their IT staffing levels on a permanent basis most notably in the retail sector.
Pre-Budget Report Signals Great Future for IT Contractors in 2010
Thursday 10 December 2009“The future looks great for contract IT consultants in 2010,” says Martin Pite, Team Manager at Vector Resourcing. “Following Alistair Darling’s announcement, the Government seem to be further backing technology as a route to economic recovery which, when coupled with anticipated tax rises in today’s pre-Budget report, means that more and more skilled workers will look to contracting as a way to increase their net income."

SAP Upgrades in 2010
Monday 9 November 2009SAP UK and Ireland have found that over 50% of clients are planning to upgrade their SAP systems in 2010. I was shocked to read that only 35% of companies were currently on ECC 6.0, and was somewhat surprised to see how many organisations were showing negativity about upgrading. One of the major fears seems to be over cost but this surely is mislaid.
