Vector Resourcing donate PCs to Computers 4 Africa
Vector Resourcing have recently donated 17 computers including flat screen monitors, keyboards and mice to Computers 4 Africa.
During the refurbishment of their head office, Vector’s IT support company Crosstek IT ( http://www.crosstek.it ) suggested Computers 4 Africa as a worthy cause for their old equipment.
Genna Haines, Facilities Manager, Vector Resourcing, said: “We are always keen to support good causes and make regular contributions to local, national and international charities, so we are delighted to be able to recycle our old computers. It is great to know that they will be put to good use training people to use modern software and IT in Africa, whilst at the same time reducing our carbon footprint.”
Computers 4 Africa is an independent charity which encourages and enables Europe to donate used PCs to schools in Africa. If you would like further information, please visit their website at http://www.computers4africa.org.uk
