Permanent IT in demand

Vector’s Permanent Division have experienced a positive start to 2010, continuing the upward trend which began in the last quarter of 2009.

Now that the recession is over, companies are gaining confidence in the market and are seeking quality IT professionals to either fill positions which were ‘on hold’, or to fill new positions which have been created to keep up with demand or to drive the business forward and maximise the benefits of IT.

It would be fair to say that the market will still be intensely competitive in 2010, but our wealth of experience and reputation for being a high quality supplier, coupled with our consistent interview to placement ratio will ensure we continue as a leader in permanent IT recruitment.

Employers are hiring more now than at any other time in the last year (especially with the new financial year on the horizon), in fact a recent REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation) report published at the beginning of the month suggests that the IT/computing sector is the most in-demand area at the moment.
