Vector’s Marathon Man
Mark Cassé, Senior Recruitment Consultant at Vector Resourcing will be running the Virgin London Marathon on Sunday 25th April 2010.
Mark, said: “I am on the home straight with the training now, and hope that I should be able to get around the 26.2 miles in one piece.”
Although Mark was lucky enough to get accepted for the London Marathon via the main ballot, he has decided to raise money in memory of his son Joshua and is raising funds for Starlight (http://www.starlight.org.uk) who are a “grant a wish” charity for children with terminal or life limiting illnesses.
Donna Medway, Director, Vector Resourcing, said: “On behalf of everyone at Vector, we would like to wish Mark every success in the London Marathon. Mark has chosen a very worthwhile charity which means so much to him and I am sure he will make everyone proud of his achievements on the day”.
If you would like to sponsor Mark for his efforts, you can make a donation on the Virgin Money Giving Site at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/MarkCasse
Mark has been running for over three years and joined local Wadhurst Running Club about eighteen months ago. As well as running in this year’s London Marathon, Mark will also be taking part in the Bewl 15, a gruelling 15 mile run which takes place around the Sussex landmark of Bewl Water on 4th July 2010. The Bewl 15 is part of the Sussex Grand Prix which is a series of 19 races held around the combined counties of Sussex and is organised by local running club the Wadhurst Runners and is also sponsored by Vector Resourcing this year.
