Bewl 15 Success
Wednesday 7 July 2010The Bewl 15 was another successful run for Vector’s Senior Recruitment Consultant Mark Cassé, who completed the 15 mile challenging course in 2 hours, beating his time from last year by over 10 minutes.
Mark, said: “It was another hot (and very dusty) race. You have to have your wits about you to avoid twisting ankles. The competitors were well catered for though, with regular drinks stations, sponges and Jelly Babies on offer at various intervals. There was even a make-shift “hose-pipe shower” at one point in the course to keep runners cool! I believe there was a record number of entrants this year, and the feedback from runners on the organisation of the day was very positive.”

This year’s event was sponsored by Vector Resourcing and company director Donna Medway was in attendance on the day.
The Bewl 15 takes place around the Sussex landmark of Bewl Water and is part of the Sussex Grand Prix which is a series of 19 races held around the combined counties of Sussex and is organised by local running club the Wadhurst Runners.
