Vector's Triathlon Man in Humanrace BananaMan
Vector Resourcing would like to wish Ben Keenan, consultant at their Wiltshire branch, the best of luck for the BananaMan Triathlon on Sunday 11th July.
Ben, who has been training hard, came 23rd in the swimming and 13th in his age group with a final position of 76th out of 230 people in his last race.
Ben, said: “This is a 3 quarter distance triathlon on Sunday and I have run this distance only twice now, I’ll try and push the swim to give me some credibility in the results, but this is going to be a tough challenge.”
The BananaMan takes place at the Olympic rowing venue for the 2012 Olympic Games at Dorney Lake, Windsor. Held over the ¾ triathlon distance, it comprises of an 800m open water swim in the rowing lake before a 6 lap bike course over a closed, flat road circuit covering 30k. A final 7.5k run across the tarmac paths completes the event.
Ben has entered numerous triathlon events over the coming months including the St James Place 10k run in Cirencester on the 18th July.
Vector will shortly be sponsoring Ben with a corporate triathlon suit and wish him every success in the BananaMan on Sunday.
