Vector’s Ben Keenan, Consultant at their Wiltshire branch completed the St James’s Place 10k run in Cirencester last Sunday (18th July) with a personal best of 52mins 20 secs.
Ben, said: It was really hard, I have never seen so many hills, let alone ran up them! This is only the second time I have run this distance so I am very pleased to have completed the course in a quicker time. I finished 106th, but I started too quickly as I was trying for a time of 50 minutes, but was worn out after 6km.”
St James’s Place is a multi-terrain run over the private traffic-free tarmac, gravel roads and fields within Cirencester Park on the Bathurst Estate which is well known as a leading polo venue. The run covers one circuit of the leisure area of the park through wooded trails.
