Vector’s Ben completes St James’s Place 10k Run
Wednesday 21 July 2010Vector’s Ben Keenan, Consultant at their Wiltshire branch completed the St James’s Place 10k run in Cirencester last Sunday (18th July) with a personal best of 52mins 20 secs.
Ben, said: It was really hard, I have never seen so many hills, let alone ran up them! This is only the second time I have run this distance so I am very pleased to have completed the course in a quicker time. I finished 106th, but I started too quickly as I was trying for a time of 50 minutes, but was worn out after 6km.”
St James’s Place is a multi-terrain run over the private traffic-free tarmac, gravel roads and fields within Cirencester Park on the Bathurst Estate which is well known as a leading polo venue. The run covers one circuit of the leisure area of the park through wooded trails.
