Brighton 10K Race success for Mark Cassé
Senior Recruitment Consultant, Mark Cassé, took part in the recent Brooks Brighton 10K race beating his personal best time for the distance.
The race which was held this year on 21st November 2010 is always very popular, with over 2,500 entrants.
Conditions for this year’s race were pretty good, and on a flat course set along the Brighton seafront and promenade, Mark finished in a time of 42:05, coming home 341st out of 2461 finishers – which was over a minute faster than his previous time.
Mark’s next race is the Christmas Pudding Dash on the 18th December. This is a 5 mile all-terrain event held at Ashburnham Place near Battle. Participants are encouraged to wear fancy dress, and a Christmas Pudding is given to every finisher (with mince pies and mulled wine also on offer as an added incentive!) A different charity is supported by the race organisers each year, and the 2010 event will be raising money for Christian Aid. Good luck Mark!
