2nd Line Service Desk Engineer

We are on the lookout for a 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer to acts as a ‘technical bridge’, helping to minimise the number of incidents that are escalated to the IT 3rd line resolver group

 

Responsibilities 

Respond to incoming calls, self-serve calls and emails made to the Service Desk

Deliver incoming service requests such as requests for software, setting up new equipment, and new user/leaver requests

Log and update calls on the IT Service Desk ticketing system

Train and develop new members of the 1st line team, to help improve their knowledge and level of service provided

Maintain a high level of customer service at all times

 

Essential Skills 

Experience working on a service desk, responding to face to face and telephone queries

Office 365 experience

Previously supported Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Windows 10 and Office 2016 to a 2nd line level

Ability to carry out hardware fixes including Screens, Printers & Mice
