2nd Line Support Engineer

We are looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to work up through the ranks of a growing consultancy to take care of support issues for some high profile clients

 

Responsibilities 

Initially working on their helpdesk to a 2nd line level with the more senior engineers to get an understanding of the consultancy and how they operate

Visit client sites approximately 3 days per week, troubleshooting issues

Have an input on future project work such as system upgrades/migrations

Manage external vendors 

 

Essential Skills

Experienced on-site/client facing skills and is able to communicate will all levels in the client business

Good understanding of MacOS and Windows OS

Good understanding of collaboration tools

Experience in maintaining Windows Server including Active Directory

Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc)

Experience of supporting mobile devices

Basic O365 administration
