We are searching for a personable 3rd Line Support Engineer to join our clients rapidly growing support team that has come about due to a sustained period of organic growth. The main focus for the role will be to act as the key escalation point for the service desk, fixing any issues that are passed on to you form the 1st/2nd line teams, you will also be given the opportunity to partake in more exciting infrastructure projects as they kick off. 

You will be responsible for a wide variety of support tasks including but not limited to; troubleshooting issues with windows servers, the set up and administration of Active Directory and Group Policy, the migration and deployment of Office 365 and Azure based applications, fixing problems with the client's VMware estate and the set up and configuration of remote desktop/remote application solutions. 


Essential Skills 

  • Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP 
  • Office 365 & Azure 
  • Experience with VMware / Hyper-V hypervisors
  • Remote Desktop / RemoteApp deployment & management
  • Managing wired & wireless networks, including switches, routers, firewalls
