Application Packager

Do you want to complete an exciting contract with the flexibility of working from home?

We are searching for an experienced Application Packager to work both autonomously and as part of a team to help package applications for our client as they go through a critical period of modernisation for their IT estate. The role will require you to work alongside another remote based Application Packager to package roughly 40 applications from a windows 7 environment over to a new windows 10 environment via SCCM. 

You will be responsible for planning out your workload with the other Application Packager to make sure that you are working as efficiently as possible, you will be expected to package an average of 3 applications per week and once they have been packaged you will hand over to an internal team member who will be facilitating user testing on site. You will also need to produce weekly reports that will be collated by the discovery and packaging lead so that the senior management team are kept up to date with project progress.    


Essential Skills

  • Experience of Windows 7 & 10 OS
  • Experience creating SCCM packages
  • Citrix
  • Understanding of public sector specific applications.
