We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to take responsibility for troubleshooting issues, creating scripts, and ensuring smooth operation of the applications within our client's Linux environment 

Responsibilities

Support packaged and in-house applications running on LINUX operating system

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to scripts and data transfers

Create new scripts to run on LINUX servers

Maintain internal monitoring, controls, and documentation

Support software upgrades and patches

Provide full administrative server support in relation to the Baan ERP system

Create and manage user accounts in Baan 

Provide support to all business units in relation to Baan functionality

Install software upgrades, patches, and porting sets

Respond to action items raised by the Baan Users Support Group

Essential Skills 

Application Support experience

Linux support and scripting skills 

Knowledge of ERP
