We are searching for an Assistant Director for Digital, Technology & Change who will be crucial in driving the digital transformation of a public sector organisation. This role involves assessing the current use of data, technology, and performance systems, and creating a strategic plan for improvement across these key areas. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in digital transformation within a public sector environment, bringing together different departments to achieve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Lead the assessment of the company’s data, technology, and performance frameworks
Review existing data processes, identifying gaps and opportunities to maximise its value
Evaluate current technology solutions, determining if they align with the company’s goals, and recommend vendor reviews if necessary
Analyse performance metrics and assess their impact on overall business efficiency
Develop and implement a strategic improvement plan for data, technology, and performance management
Collaborate with key departments such as PMO, Finance, and Procurement to ensure alignment across business functions
Establish robust data collection processes to avoid duplication and enhance data utilisation
Deliver a comprehensive review within the first 3-4 months, outlining recommendations for long-term business improvement
Provide leadership in driving organisational change across all business areas, ensuring streamlined processes and improved performance
Continually monitor and adjust strategies to ensure the business achieves optimal results from its technology and data investments
