CAD Designer

We are searching for a CAD Designer who will be crucial in driving the development of high-quality engineering and building services drawings. This role involves producing detailed 2D and occasional 3D CAD designs based on client specifications to support their busy engineering department.

Responsibilities

- Produce accurate 2D CAD drawings using AutoCAD

- Create 3D CAD drawings as required using AutoCAD and Inventor

- Interpret specifications to prepare engineering and building services drawings

- Produce drawings for HVAC, heating, ventilation, drainage, and water services layouts

- Create electrical schematics, ceiling and lighting layouts, and fire detection zone drawings

- Update and modify ‘as built’ drawings as needed

- Prepare Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs)

Essential Skills

- Proven experience producing 2D CAD drawings using AutoCAD

- Experience with 3D drawings in AutoCAD and Inventor

- Ability to interpret engineering specifications into precise CAD designs
