Cloud Operations Engineer

We are searching for a Cloud Operations Engineer to focus on the continuous deployment, administration, and upkeep of development and production environments within the Azure public cloud infrastructure
Responsibilities
Proactively oversee the infrastructure and environments, taking proactive measures to enhance stability, dependability, and performance while maintaining a keen eye on cost-effectiveness
Contribute to the establishment of an organisation-wide Site Reliability Engineering ethos by sharing guiding principles, approaches, best practices, documentation, and code with peers throughout the company
Uphold and establish Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates, deploying fresh infrastructure and environments in alignment with Architecture, Compliance, Operational, and Security prerequisites
Tackle intricate, cross-platform challenges spanning Network, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Operating Systems, Applications, Databases, and other integral components. Take full ownership until resolution is achieved
Systematically document your evolving knowledge of environments and individual systems, crafting runbooks, and ensuring that crucial system information is readily accessible to colleagues across the organisation
Actively identify opportunities to introduce automation to any tasks currently executed manually, and follow through with implementation
