We are on the lookout for a Data Operations Manager support our client's business in understanding and managing its data sources and data to enable quality data-driven decisions which deliver benefit and value

Responsibilities 

Establish a Data Operations team, recruiting, coaching and mentoring a small number of data analysts

Define a Data Governance Framework, maintain a Master Data Dictionary and implement standards and techniques that improve data processing and data analysis

Effectively lead and manage data analysis projects, taking the project from the initiation and planning stages through to implementation and delivery

Quickly and effectively identify appropriate solutions to data analysis issues, or issues relating to work on large data sets

Understand use of data to support the business’ compliance duties

Conduct analysis on small and large datasets and propose and design complex analysis solutions where necessary

Oversee the compliance of GDPR practices in the use and handling of data sets

Essential Skills 

Strong awareness of enterprise technologies and their use of data

Understanding and use of data analysis methods and reporting techniques, tools and platforms

Knowledge of APIs or other integration techniques

Knowledge of data mapping and modelling techniques and the use of modelling tools

Skilled in the use of various scripting and programming languages

Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data
