We are looking for an ERP Project Manager to lead and oversee the upgrade of our client's Infor M3 ERP system from version 13.2 to 13.4. This technical upgrade is a critical initiative within our client's global operations, touching upon various functional areas including Finance, Materials Management, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the project to successful completion, ensuring seamless coordination of resources, managing budgets, mitigating risks, and fostering effective stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the end-to-end upgrade project, ensuring it meets its objectives within scope, timeframes, and budget

Collaborate closely with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach throughout the project lifecycle

Oversee the execution of the project plan, identifying dependencies, critical paths, and potential bottlenecks

Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure the project's timely and successful completion

Work closely with internal IT teams, business units, and external Systems Integrators (SI) to streamline resource allocation and optimise productivity

Develop a deep understanding of vendor commitments and engagements related to the upgrade project

Maintain regular communication with vendors to track progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with project goals

Develop and manage the project budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines

Identify cost-saving opportunities and resource optimisation strategies to maintain budgetary control

Conduct thorough risk analysis, identifying potential project risks and devising mitigation strategies

Proactively address challenges to prevent delays or disruptions to the project timeline

Lead a diverse team of professionals, including approximately 6-7 internal IT staff, 25-30 business representatives, and around 6 members from the Systems Integrator

Essential Skills

Acted as the Project Manager on an ERP implementation

Very good finance (accounting) understanding

Must have eligibility work in UK and to travel to Europe
