We are on the lookout for a Information Security Specialist to provide strong technical, professional, Information Security and operations support to our client's organisation

Responsibilities 

Develop and deliver IS security standards, best practices, architecture and systems to ensure information system security across the enterprise

Implement vulnerability tracking and resolution, preventing and detecting intrusion

Identify gaps and vulnerabilities in existing system and resolve them in a timely manner

Implement internal system standards for MS SQL and Oracle

Perform SIEM configuration and optimisation tasks for security monitoring

Perform security analysis to ensure that all applications are functional and secure

Work with Information Security Manager and IS Manager to define security standards

Implement procedures to ensure compliance to information security standards

Provide information security advice and guidance to the company's IS manager and staff to enable them to achieve their objectives

Essential Skills 

An understanding of compliance, continuous improvement and excellent customer service

Strong Information Systems, cyber security and digital security awareness

Good Technical skills and IT systems knowledge

Experience of working in an international organisation and awareness of cultural differences

An ability to work collaboratively with the IS team and Information Security team
