Infrastructure Support Technician

We are looking for an Infrastructure Support Technician to assist our client with routine infrastructure support tasks, providing end-user support, maintaining server platforms, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and policies, and collaborating with various teams
Responsibilities
Assist in delivering routine infrastructure support tasks while ensuring health, availability, and adherence to best practices
Provide end-user support for office-based staff, including clinical staff in the southern region of the United Kingdom. Occasional mobile support will be required
Support the Infrastructure team in maintaining the server platform, which includes Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, virtual and physical instances, VMWare ESXi, Microsoft SQL Server, and IIS
Manage a complex infrastructure environment reliant on secured private and public network connectivity, spanning across company sites, geographically split data centers, and Microsoft Azure public cloud
Participate in daily operational duties such as provisioning and retirement of services, meeting and exceeding SLAs and KPIs, and ensuring accuracy and compliance of standard operating procedures, policies, and the Infrastructure Team's technical library
Work collaboratively and independently to efficiently and effectively complete tasks
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders in both technical and non-technical capacities
Collaborate with the Infrastructure and ISMS Teams to retain an ISO 27001 certification
Essential Skills
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the IT industry
Microsoft Windows Server Skills
Microsoft Windows 10 support experience
Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory
Fundamental knowledge in supporting desktops, printers, and peripherals
