We are on the lookout for an Insight Analyst to be responsible for managing our client's master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues

Responsibilities 

Analyse data using Microsoft SQL and other tools to meet business needs

Monitor and troubleshoot datasets and reports with a constant view of improving data quality across the company

Partner with different functions and teams to understand their challenges with data and support cross-functional projects

Liaise with internal clients to fully understand data content

Gather, understand, and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques

Manipulate, analyse, and interpret data sets relating to the business

Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools (SSRS/PowerBI)

Create data dashboards, graphs, and visualisations from single or multiple systems

Develop internal reports to present the data in the most easily consumable way and surface the key insights from the data

Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports

Train end-users on new reports and dashboards

Troubleshoot and resolve data/report queries

Essential Skills 

Previous experience as an Insight analyst or in a related field

Advanced Excel skills, including writing formulae and transformation of data

SQL Server (including SSRS) and T-SQL

Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical terms

Power BI and DAX skills
