IT Support Engineer

We are searching for an IT Support Engineer to provide hands-on, onsite technical assistance and ensure the smooth logging of support tickets into ServiceNow. This role has been created to support our client during their migration to a new ServiceNow instance, which currently does not offer automatic ticket logging.The successful candidate will play a key role in manually logging tickets via a swivel chair process while also assisting with issue resolution alongside the existing support team.
Responsibilities
Manually log support tickets into ServiceNow using a swivel chair process during the migration period
Work alongside the existing support team to ensure all incidents and requests are captured efficiently
Assist with technical issue resolution, handling support tickets as part of a shared workload
Collaborate with internal teams and end-users to ensure a smooth transition to the new ServiceNow instance
Essential Skills
Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT service management (ITSM) platforms
Strong troubleshooting skills, with experience resolving common IT issues
