IT Support Engineer

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our client's IT Helpdesk team. You will support a wide range of technologies across multiple sites with a focus on delivering a 1st class friendly, personable, and professional customer support experience to users in need of technical assistance
Responsibilities
Maintain a fleet of several hundred PCs and Macs across the organisation
Prioritise and resolve tickets raised in person, over the phone, or via the FreshService platform
Ensure regular updates and clear communication on ticket progress for users
Create and support new user accounts on Active Directory, Tessitura, and other platforms
Support the business in the roll-out of new applications, systems, and platforms
Assist in monitoring and maintaining IT security systems, computer systems, and networks
Create and maintain support documentation, including procedural documents and relevant reports
Participate in project work, including large-scale software deployments, process improvements, and enhancing the capabilities of new or existing systems
Essential Skills
Demonstrable experience in the installation, configuration, management, and maintenance of desktop hardware and software (Windows 10 & Mac OS)
Experience supporting Microsoft Office applications across all platforms
Knowledge of Active Directory
Previous experience of working collaboratively within a team
