We have a superb opportunity for an IT support officer to work for a charity who are dedicated to making our planet a better place to live. You will be joining a team of two who act as the first point of contact for incoming service request queries. The service desk is the main focal point for providing support across the entire organisation and you will need to take calls, respond to email queries and support users directly in an open plan office. 

You will be responsible for setting up new starters supporting exchange, office 365 and getting involved in laptop/desktop builds and windows 10 deployments to laptops and PC's. You'll need to troubleshoot any hardware issues that arise ensuring that any problems that you aren't able to fix are escalated to the relevant teams. Some of the problems you'll encounter might be account unlocks up to more complex issues such as carrying out diagnostics on finance software that has stopped working. 

Essential Skills 

  • Previous 1st/2nd line support experience of Microsoft technologies.
  • Understanding of how to support cloud technology.
