IT Support Specialist

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our client's team and provide comprehensive technical support to end users. The role will be a mixture of 1st-3rd line support including setting up hardware, assisting with rollout projects and managing technical environments.
Responsibilities
Provide effective and efficient technical assistance to users, addressing a wide range of technical queries and issues
Log and manage support tickets in the helpdesk system, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of incidents and resolutions
Perform patching activities to maintain systems and software up-to-date, ensuring optimal security and performance
Offer DNS support to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues
Set up laptops, desktops, printers, tablets, and mobile devices for new and existing users
Execute maintenance tasks and provide ongoing technical support to ensure smooth operations
Collaborate with the project team to assist in rollouts, particularly with the current Office 365 implementation
Handle technical issues ranging from 1st to 3rd line support
Manage Active Directory (AD) and Azure environments effectively
Develop and compile documentation for various processes and changes
Collaborate on projects involving process enhancements and new initiatives
Essential Skills
Must have a valid UK Driving licence
Experience with 1st-3rd line support of the following technology:
- Windows 10
- Server 2012-2019
- O365 - Essential
- AD
- Azure
ITIL knowledge
Some understanding of networking

Up to £35,000 pa. + £4,800 Car Allowance
