IT Support Specialist

We are on the lookout for an IT Support Specialist who will be crucial in driving the delivery of high-quality technical support services within our growing organisation. This role involves providing first-line support to over 200 users while working closely with another IT Support Engineer and the Head of IT to ensure a seamless and secure technology environment.
Responsibilities
Responding to technical support requests from end users in a timely and professional manner
Setting up and installing new computers, networks, and software packages for employees
Managing user accounts and profiles on the network, including setting up access permissions
Installing and maintaining operating systems, anti-virus software, and other applications such as Microsoft Office
Applying software updates and patches to maintain system security and functionality
Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime
Maintaining inventories of hardware and software, keeping them up to date
Managing regular server backups to protect against data loss
Keeping detailed records of technical issues and their resolutions for future reference
Essential Skills
Proven 1st/2nd line support experience
experience of the Microsoft tech stack
