We are looking for a Lead Information Security Analyst to oversee our client's Information Security team on a contractual basis. This role is integral to the interim management of the team until a permanent Director of Information Security joins, at which point there will be an opportunity to transition into a long-term position reporting directly to the Director.

Responsibilities

Interim leadership and management of the Information Security team

Effective liaison with technical teams, ensuring robust cybersecurity practices

Regular engagement and communication with senior stakeholders

Overseeing the technical side of cybersecurity, ensuring alignment with company objectives

Managing our relationship with third-party service providers, particularly in information security

Supervising the existing arrangements with Sophos, focusing on Managed Detection and Response services

Providing guidance and leadership to a team of three technical analysts, specialising in vulnerability management

Essential Skills 

Previously managed SOC Services before

Knowledge of the technical side of Information security 

Ability to hold monthly meetings with management teams and report back on vulnerability and security
