Master Data Technician

We are searching for a Master Data Technician to play a crucial role in managing essential material master data creation, maintenance, and input. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that our client's master data accurately represents their core products, thereby supporting the entire business
Responsibilities
Develop export/import strategies for cleaning and maintaining data, ensuring the integrity and quality of master data
Process data activities as required, including handling requests for item master creation and data amendments
Collaborate with manufacturing processes to maintain materials, create and update Bills of Material (BOM), and Routings for both new and existing products
Enter updates to prices, supplier information, and purchase records, keeping the master data up to date
Perform regular audits on products and other supply-chain related data to verify accuracy, ensure compliance with established standards, and implement necessary updates
Communicate and coordinate with internal contacts to obtain and maintain relevant master data information
Engage with external contacts, such as suppliers and other data partners, to acquire necessary master data information
Essential Skills
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Logical thinker with excellent data entry skills and great attention to detail
Strong analytical skills
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative and to meet timescales
