SAP Application Manager

We are looking for an SAP Application Manager to join our client's team. The role involves collaborating closely with transformation and business teams to elevate internal customer experience, prioritise technology-enabled process enhancements, and oversee vendor relationships to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Utilise SAP solutions to deliver a seamless internal customer experience, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives
Identify, prioritise, and plan technology-enabled process improvement demands within the SAP landscape to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Oversee the delivery of SAP-related product backlogs resulting from process improvement demands, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
Manage SAP vendor relationships, including contract management specific to SAP services and issue escalation related to SAP solutions
Cultivate and manage relationships with key SAP solution providers, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives
Address SAP-related vendor invoicing issues in collaboration with Accounts Payable teams to ensure timely payments and accurate financial management
Identify, evaluate, and recommend opportunities for optimising the SAP application landscape to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Work with budget holders to plan and execute SAP optimisation initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and resource constraints
Drive continuous improvement within the SAP landscape to enhance business performance, including influencing SAP product roadmaps with service providers
Essential Skills
Solid and proven experience in managing SAP environments, with expertise in S/4 HANA
Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, PM, FICA, IS-Oil, and their configurations within S/4 HANA
Strong vendor management experience specific to SAP, including contract negotiation, SLA management, and issue resolution
Proficiency in SAP Software Lifecycle & Release Management
