We are searching for a Security Architect to play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust system security controls to safeguard our client from cyber threats and potential disruptions

Responsibilities

Lead the design of effective system security controls to protect the client's operations, stability, and financial health against cyber attacks and events

Champion the documentation, ownership, understanding, and application of security principles within the delivery lifecycle

Act as the Cyber Subject Matter Expert within the Enterprise Architecture Team, advising on all aspects of cyber technology design

Provide guidance for IT systems and services design to ensure the selection and implementation of appropriate and proportionate security controls

Establish, own, and communicate Security Architecture principles, ensuring adherence throughout the development lifecycle

Collaborate closely with the solution architect to assess and mitigate risks associated with each project, contributing to comprehensive risk assessments

Engage with the Cyber Security Team to incorporate risk and compliance considerations into development activities

Stay current with emerging cyber threats, influencing the technology roadmap to proactively address potential risks

Adapt and provide flexible solutions for bespoke systems that may not align with standard security practices

Work hands-on to understand project-specific risks and collaborate on effective risk mitigation strategies

Essential Skills 

5 Years experience as a Security Architect

CISSP, CISM or CEH qualification
