We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to take on a leadership role within our client’s DevOps team, driving technical excellence and infrastructure optimisation. This role involves overseeing the architecture, costing, management, and scaling of a robust AWS-based infrastructure while collaborating closely with AI and data engineering teams to support the development of NLP and ETL pipelines.

Responsibilities

- Lead DevOps projects and mentor junior engineers

- Architect and optimise AWS infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency

- Manage infrastructure using Terraform and maintain CI/CD pipelines

- Build and orchestrate containers using Docker and Kubernetes

- Implement monitoring and alerting with tools like Grafana and Loki

Essential Skills

- Experience in a DevOps or similar role, with strong AWS expertise

- Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline development

- Skilled in Docker, observability tools, and scripting (Python, Bash)

- Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) and cloud cost optimisation
