Service Delivery Team Leader

We are searching for a Service Delivery Team Leader to manage the Helpdesk team ensuring it provides excellent technical IT support to users of our client's computing facilities

 

Responsibilities 

Responsible for all 1st and second line support ensuring it is effective, efficient and provides a timely service

Manage and lead a team of IT service desk analysts including all aspects of recruitment, performance management and coaching 

Managing any staffing issues as necessary with the support and guidance from HR and the Head of IT

Support the Head of IT on planned projects, taking the technical lead as required

Check backup systems are working, and backups are retrievable

Help the Head of IT with Disaster recovery 

Essential Skills 

Proven experience in successfully managing and developing a high-quality service desk team and ensuring their effective performance

Proven experience in delivering an excellent customer service experience

Excellent knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy

Strong experience in a Citrix or similar environment

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
