Service Operations Manager

We are on the lookout for a Service Operations Manager to lead the Service Operations Support Team making sure the team delivers a high level of service, meeting set SLA's for all IT Services as well as assisting with the delivery of small-scale IT projects



Work with the Service Operations Support Team, to deliver and support information systems and services

Ensure the support team prioritises and resolves reported faults, in line with agreed service levels and schedules

Take overall responsibility for operational tasks connected to server and networking infrastructure

Scope and champion user requests, bringing to bear specialists skills when necessary to deliver packages of work

Manage the staff of the support desk, including motivating them, recruitment, performance management, preparing annual performance reviews and training plans

Ensure incident management processes drive continual service improvement


Essential Skills 

Knowledge of IT service desk tools and best practices

Experience of both analogue and VOIP telephony

Ability to relate the goals of IT service support to business goals

Strong understanding of Windows desktop deployment services and management of client-server technologies

Experience in VMware Admin

Experience in Cisco Networking Admin

Strong ITIL knowledge
