Our client requires a skilled SQL DBA to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in their legacy SQL Data Warehouse. You’ll work with the Data Warehouse Lead and offshore team to quickly identify and fix problems, ensuring reliable day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and resolve SQL Data Warehouse performance issues

- Optimise queries, indexes, and file groups to improve performance

- Provide recommendations on best practice and long-term improvements

- Ensure the stability and reliability of the data environment for business operations

Essential Skills

- Strong SQL DBA background with coding and optimisation skills

- Proven ability to troubleshoot performance issues (indexes, file groups, queries)

- Experience in Data Warehousing and legacy SQL environments

- Collaborative approach with clear communication
