Systems Engineer

We are searching for a Systems Engineer to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the stability of retail and e-commerce systems. This position involves working closely with UK and US-based IT teams, resolving production issues, and supporting critical system integrations across retail operations.

Responsibilities

- Provide third-line support, diagnosing and resolving technical issues

- Collaborate with global IT teams, building strong relationships and sharing technical insights

- Support and maintain integration layers for online trading platforms

- Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues

- Monitor system performance

- Maintain documentation on data flows, formats, and fixes for handover to 1st/2nd line teams

Essential Skills

- Knowledge of retail operations, including pricing, stock, and sales processes

- Experience with Microsoft technologies, MS Azure, and AWS MQ

- Proficient in scripting/automation using .Net, Python, and Java

- Experience with AWS (Lambda, ECS, MQ)
