Data Engineer (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)

The search

We are searching for a Data Engineer to support the replacement of a large, data-heavy Political Finance Online system. The programme is progressing through vendor evaluation, with D365 currently the preferred direction following benchmarking and alignment with wider organisational systems. You will join the Programme Lead and Technical Lead to help deliver the data workstream for this transformation.

Responsibilities

• Build ETL/ELT pipelines to migrate legacy data into D365

• Create integrations using Azure Data Factory, Power Automate, and Logic Apps

• Align data models and rules with project teams

• Improve data quality and ensure compliance.

• Optimise data storage across cloud and on-prem.

Essential skills

• Strong Azure Data Factory and integration skills.

• Knowledge of D365 or similar CRM platforms

• Ability to handle unstructured or poor-quality data

• Understanding of GDPR and data governance
