Our client is looking for a Data Engineering Lead to lead the delivery and evolution of their data platform.

You will provide hands-on technical leadership across data engineering, helping shape platform capability and future strategy.

This role is focused on technical ownership, platform improvement and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead data engineering delivery.
• Own the development of the data platform.
• Define data architecture, modelling and tooling standards.
• Shape long-term data strategy.
• Manage key internal and external stakeholders.

Essential skills

• Strong hands-on data engineering background.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers.
• Expertise in data platforms and data modelling.
• Strong AWS experience.
• Ability to drive technical decisions and delivery.
