The search

We are searching for a Data Governance Lead to drive the design and implementation of a global data governance framework across a growing organisation.

This is a hands-on role, leading the rollout of Microsoft Purview and OneCatalogue, aligned with an existing Microsoft Fabric environment. You will take ownership of governance from initial technical implementation through to long-term strategy and adoption, ensuring data is managed as a trusted enterprise asset.

Responsibilities

Design and implement governance frameworks
Set up and configure Purview and OneCatalogue
Embed governance into projects
Define and monitor data quality and lineage
Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Drive adoption across the business
Enable data for analytics and AI

Essential skills

Strong Microsoft Purview experience (setup, labelling, tagging)
Hands-on data governance implementation
Microsoft Fabric (governance perspective)
Good understanding of governance frameworks
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
