Our client is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to support a major data centre migration and wider infrastructure upgrade programme.

You will help deliver server and environment build activities before moving onto the migration of an on-premise data centre to a third-party hosting provider.

This role is focused on infrastructure delivery, migration support and server estate improvement.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure infrastructure environments.
• Support the migration of services from the on-premise data centre.
• Work with engineers to plan and execute migration activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
• Maintain and improve VMware environments.

Essential skills

• Strong VMware administration experience.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016 and above.
• Good PowerShell scripting skills.
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects and migrations.
