Network Engineer

Our client is looking for a Network Engineer to lead the migration from password-based Wi-Fi authentication to certificate-based authentication.

You will design and implement a secure 802.1X authentication solution, working closely with internal technical teams to support a successful Windows 11 rollout.

This role is focused on Wi-Fi security, certificate-based authentication and infrastructure delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assess the current 802.1X and RADIUS environment.
• Design a certificate-based Wi-Fi authentication solution.
• Configure RADIUS and authentication policies.
• Implement certificate enrolment and management.
• Deploy Wi-Fi profiles across managed devices.
• Work with internal teams to deliver the migration.

Essential skills

• Experience with NPS, Cisco ISE or Aruba ClearPass.
• Strong understanding of PKI and certificate management.
• Experience with AD CS, Intune SCEP or PKCS.
• Experience deploying authentication profiles via GPO and/or Intune.
• Strong Windows infrastructure experience.
