Principal Architect

The search

Our client is seeking a Principal Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture for a major transformation programme. You will define, document, and own the architectural landscape, ensuring all solutions are scalable, robust, and aligned with organisational strategy. The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and effective collaboration with stakeholders, technical teams, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Define current and target architecture

• Apply architectural standards and governance

• Document target state, integrations, and data flows

• Maintain end-to-end architectural integrity

• Produce technical artefacts and support vendor selection

Essential skills

• Strong enterprise/solution architecture experience

• Ability to design and communicate end-to-end architectures

• Expertise in scalable, secure solution design

• Experience with complex systems and integrations
