Senior Infrastructure Manager

The search

Our client is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Manager to lead their core infrastructure function across on-premise, cloud, networks, Microsoft 365, backups, unified communications, and datacentre environments.

You will manage the infrastructure team, oversee day-to-day service delivery, act as the senior technical escalation point, and lead infrastructure improvement projects. The role also includes supplier management, budget input, security, disaster recovery, and service improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the infrastructure team and manage day-to-day service delivery.
• Oversee core infrastructure across on-premise, cloud, networks, M365, backups, telephony, and datacentres.
• Act as the senior escalation point for major incidents and complex technical issues.
• Deliver infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and service improvements.
• Manage suppliers, budgets, contracts, security, backup, and disaster recovery requirements.

Essential skills

• Strong infrastructure management experience.
• Broad technical knowledge across servers, networks, cloud, M365, firewalls, backups, and unified communications.
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects and service improvements.
• Strong understanding of incident management, suppliers, budgets, security, and disaster recovery.
